Modern spacious gound floor 2 bedroom apartment on the Costa Calida (warm coast) air-con, heating, community pool and tennis courts. Only a minutes walk to the Mar Menor (Small Sea), shops, restaurants bars and a lively Marina. Every water sport is available within a few minutes, closest beach has pedalos and jet-ski hire, scuba, snokeling, boat charter at the Marina. The apartment has a good size terrace with patio furniture and patio doors from both bedrooms. Area Details Only 50 metres from the beaches of the Mar Menor and a lovely walkway, and 150 metres from the Mediterranean you would be hard pressed to find a nicer location. Every type of water sport is available in the area, kite surfing seems to be one of the most popular this year, equipement and schools for scuba, sailing, surfing and skiing are plentiful. Sea fishing trips and lake fishing is organised from the Marina. Excellent Golf and tennis at La Manga Club - about 17km away.
The communal pool is shaped and inviting if you tire of the beaches and there are community tennis courts for your use.
Shops, bars and restaurants are all within a short walking distance as is the Thomas Maestro Marina where you can admire the cruisers, or try out the many restaurants and bars.
This really is an up and coming area of La Manga, called the 'new Marbella' the marina has almost doubled in size and plans for a new deep sea Marina on the Med side are due to go ahead next year.
Although there are a lot of foreign visitors the area is predominately Spanish, not at all like Benidorm. Your holiday can be as peaceful and relaxing or busy and active as you wish in this area.
