Easy 3 minute walk to lovely, safe and pristine sheltered beaches with fine white sand and turquoise waters (considered by Mauritians to be the best on the island) - no roads to cross. All amenities within 1-5 minutes walk: excellent reasonably prices restaurants, supermarket, grocery stores, patisserie, beautician/hairdresser, excursion/diving and car/bike hire centres, taxi stands, bus stops, bank, internet café, chemist and doctor.
On request, we can organise your airport transfer to the apartment with our reliable English/French speaking taxi driver and qualified tour guide. His taxi is air-conditioned and he charges 1200 Rupees (about Ł24/per transfer). Our representative there will ensure that you are made welcome and that your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Area Details Situated in the well serviced village of Péreybčre on the sheltered part of the island's North coast, which can be walked along for miles. Péreybčre has retained its local charm and yet has a great variety of good restaurants, amenities, shops & water activities, all of which can be reached within an easy walk from the apartment. Beautiful, safe beaches, considered by Mauritians to be amongst the best on the island. Luxury hotels nearby with access to their evening entertainment. 5 minute drive or bus ride to the resort town of Grand-Baie with its charming shopping arcades, restaurants on the water's edge & bars. Le Jardin de Pamplemousses, the unique tropical botanical gardens (on a par with Kew Gardens) with giant indigenous tortoises, is only about 20 minutes drive away. The capital, Port-Louis, and its exotic markets & modern shopping complex, is about 40 minutes drive away. Travel Details Péreybčre is an ideal starting point for excursions to all parts of the island. It offers taxis and a regular bus network covering the entire island. There is a bus and taxi stand 30 seconds walk from the apartment. A few minutes further, there are car hire centres (children's car seats available) offering safe and air-conditioned cars.
On request, our reliable English/French speaking tour guide and taxi driver Nanda)can drive you from the airport to the apartment and take you back when you leave. His taxi is air-conditioned and he charges 1500 Rupees, about Ł34/transfer. A mini van and/or several taxis can be provided for larger parties. Nanda can also be hired for daily excursions to any part of the island during your holiday.

Price Includes:-All utilities, fully equipped modern kitchen, washing machine, modern remote-controlled air-conditioning in all bedrooms & the living/dining room, ample towels and sheets, digital safe, telephone (incoming calls), a private garage if you hire a car and of course use of the pool. The apartment is in a small residential complex mostly owned by Mauritians as 2nd holiday homes, so it is quiet and you should have almost exclusive and private use of the pool most of the time. The apartment is very child friendly with stair gates, black-out curtains to ensure a good night's sleep and, if needed, a modern "Gracco" style travel cot and a high chair can be provided.
Price Excludes:-Use of the tennis courts which are located 1 minute walk from the apartment. Courts can be booked locally for 100 Rupees/hour (about Ł2/hour)
Other Information:-The daily price ranges from Ł70 to Ł90 depending on numbers and/or duration of stay. Discounts are also offered to previous guests, airline staff and referrers of new guests
