Cabille Grange is a beautifully renovated slice of an old Quercy stone barn situated on a peninsula of land at the end of a country lane. On the ground floor there is a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, oven, gas/electric hob and extracter hood. Double doors from the lounge/dining area open onto a south facing terrace and the large salt pool. On the first floor there is one double and one twin bedroom, a large shower room with basin and a separate wc. Outside is a covered dining terrace, garden and a lawn area for games. The views over the surrounding woods and fields of sunflowers and corn are just wonderful. Area Details Lot et Garonne is part of deep provincial South West France. The area abounds with pretty villages, old stone houses and tree lined squares shading small bars and restaurants. There are museums, chateaux and historical sites to explore. During the summer months there are food and wine festivals, antique fairs and concerts of jazz, rock and classical music. There are many opportunities to enjoy canoeing, golf, riding, walking, cycling and tennis and the river valleys of the Lot, Garonne and Dordogne are within easy reach.
Golf: Espalais 9 Holes near Valence D'Agen. Castelnaud 18 holes 25 kms en route Bergerac out of Villeneuve sur lot. Golf D'albret 18 holes en route Buzet near Barbaste 40kms about 1 hour drive but worth it! 9 holes at Bon Encontre nr Agen. Travel Details No public transport so a car would be necessary.
