The chalet is furnished to a high standard, with three bedrooms (sleeping a maximum of six). It overlooks a fairway towards the hills on the far bank of the Sabie River. The estate is beautifully maintained and has many indigenous and exotic plants, nature trails and excellent security arrangements. Hazyview enjoys many hours of sunshine throughout the year.

Area Details
Hazyview is a fast-developing small town at the south-western end of the Kruger National Park (nearest entrance to the Park, Phabeni Gate, is 12 kms away) and about an hour's drive (in various directions) from the Blyde River Canyon (a World Heritage Site), the Three Rondavels and God's Window; the historical town of Pilgrim's Rest; the scenic town of Barbeton; and the provincial capital of Nelspruit. There are excellent walking and hiking opportunities. The tour operators in Hazyview offer the full range of adventure sports, safari drives, helicopter trips etc. And some of the restaurants in the immediate area are reputed to be among the best in South Africa. Hazyview has a reasonable range of supermarkets and other basic shops; Nelspruit has an excellent shopping mall.

Nearest airport to Hazyview is Mpumalanga Kruger International Airport, Nelspruit, which is about 45 minutes' drive away. Hazyview is an easy 4 1/2 hour (including a short stop)drive from O R Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport on excellent roads with little traffic; the second half of the journey passes through some lovely scenery. We recommend Milly's (Machadodorp) as an ideal place to break the journey. |
