Luxury Orlando Villa lake front private pool terrace only 6 miles from Disney and the Orlando / Kissimmee areas.
Our Disney area Orlando holiday villa is situated in The Palms at Lake Davenport and has a very private screened pool backing onto a lake, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and two reception rooms. It is fully air-conditioned and extremely spacious and comfortable with nearly 2000 sq ft of living space.
The excellent communal facilties at The Palms are free to all guests staying at the villa and include tennis courts, basketball, swimming pool and a childrens' play area.
Our Florida villa has a large 23'0" x 13'8" formal lounge with separate dining area, a fully fitted kitchen with breakfast nook and a comfortable 18'0" x 15'0" family room with patio doors to the pool and terrace.
The Master bedroom has King size bed, Cable TV, ceiling fan, clock/radio ensuite bathroom with twin vanity units, bath tub, large walk in shower, separate WC, large walk in closet and hairdryer.
The 2nd bedroom has Queen size bed, Cable TV, ceilng fan clock/radio and large closet.
The two remaining bedrooms each have two twin beds, Cable TV and large closet. There is a further bathroom with bath, vanity basin, shower, WC and hairdryer.
The family room has Cable TV, VCR/DVD player, CD player and a Playstation 2 games console with 2 controllers and a selection of games.
All towels and linens are supplied including towels for the pool area.
There is a separate utility room with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.
A gas BBQ is provided for guests' use.
The pool terrace has a table, cushioned chairs and recliners.
This is a strictly non smoking villa but smoking is allowed on the pool terrace and surrounding areas.
An intercom system installed in the kitchen plays piped music to all rooms and the pool terrace.
Door entry operates electronically so no keys are required to gain access.
Our Orlando villa is tastefully furnished and fully equipped to make this the ideal home away from home.
Set in a charming location yet so close to everything. Area Details Davenport, Florida, just minutes south of Disney World and set amid orange groves and citrus trees is the best place for a vacation in the Orlando area. The town of Davenport is just two miles square, but the Davenport area stretches out over the region that follows Highway 17, and east of Highway 27. Davenport is a small town nestled amid the booming growth of the Orlando/Kissimmee area. If you want a quiet spot away from Disney, Epcot, Universal, and Sea World, then Davenport is the place to be!
The Palms is on Highway 27 just 10 miles from the junction with the I4 exit #55. The villa is only 6 miles from Walt Disney World and is extremely close to Orlando and Kissimmee.
Within minutes of the 192 and the I4 this is the most convenient location for visiting all the major attractions, including the theme parks, water parks, excellent restaurants and the brilliant shopping malls and outlets.
There is a Publix supermarket less than a mile away and a 24 hour Walmart store minutes away on Highway 27 as well as a variety of other shops and restaurants within a 5 minute drive.
There are many excellent and challenging golf courses in Central Florida including Greg Norman's famous one at Champions' Gate , Celebration and the one at Highland's Reserve and they are all within a ten minute drive. The Gulf and East coast beaches are well worth a visit and can easily be reached in an hours drive. Travel Details In 20 minutes you can be at SeaWorld where you can see dolphins, manatees, whales and even sharks in many different recreated habitats, touch tanks, aquariums and exhibits. 'Wild Arctic' even has a thrill ride! Or you can make a dream come true and swim with dolphins in Discovery Cove. This is another park where your family could spend the whole day. It's not just a theme park as there's also The Waterfront which has an excellent collection of restaurants, entertainment and shops.
A 90 minute drive will take you to Busch Gardens the family adventure park recently voted the most popular theme park in Florida by Tampa Bay area residents. Alongside rides, live shows, restaurants, shops and games, all with an exotic, fascinating African theme, is one of the country's premier zoos which has more than 2,700 animals. Busch Gardens is a truly magnificent day out for the whole family. Cypress Gardens at Winter Haven, the state's original theme park have daily water ski shows, magic shows and a collection of famous and historical air vessels dating back to the origins of flight.
Also near Davenport is the Bok Tower Gardens and Sanctuary, Lake Wales the highest point in the Florida peninsula landmarked by the striking architecture of the Bok bell tower, a gift to the state in 1929 by publisher and editor Edward Bok. Surrounding the tower is an historical centre and a beautiful 128-acre botanical garden.
The villa is also close to 400 acre Lake Davenport which is ideal for the fishing and a variety of water sports including boat hire and water ski-iing. For excellent shopping you can visit Florida Mall, Central Florida's largest shopping destination or Lake Buena Vista Factory stores where you can find over 300 name brands at discounts of up to 75%!
