Stunning views of mountains and coast from this 3 bedroomed villa with full roof terrace (having its own kitchen area and shower). Set on a small private site with security gates and a full time site manager the property enjoys the use of a shared swimming pool and small private beach and jetty.
Enter via a furnished front porch into an open plan living area (having a double bed settee) with a small kitchen off with dual fuel cooker, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle grill etc.
Stairs lead to 2 twin bedrooms (master with air coditioning), a single room and shower room/WC complete with automatic washing machine. A further staircase rises to the fully furnished roof terrace (half shaded by tiled gazebo) with tables, cushioned seating, chairs, sun loungers, fridge, sink and shower.
The living area has an open working fireplace, settees, chairs, table, display cabinet, satellite and TV Area Details The property is situated on the outskirts of the exclusive and up market village of Yalikavak - regarded as a haunt of many Turkish celebrities - in the area known as Geris Alti, famous for its beachside fish restaurants. Yalikavak is 10 kms or a 15 minute drive or a half hour dolmus trip from the international resort of Bodrum and even nearer are the villages of Gumuskaya and Gumusluk (Known as Myndos in Ancient times). Also within easy reach is the more modern and bustling beach resort of Turgetreis.
Yalikavak itself is a charming village with a pedestrianised centre, around the small working harbour lined with any number of excellent waterside bars and restaurants where drinks or meals can be taken whilst watching one of Yalikavaks famous sunsets over the bay. Beyond the centre is a long waterside promenade along the beachfront to the traditional wooden boatyards..The village has a quiet,friendly atmosphere where even a first time visitor will soon be made to feel at home.
The property is set away from the village on a small site along a headland into the bay and has a spotless communal pool with sunbeds, benches and parasols and a small bar serving soft drinks and ice creams. A small private beach area and jetty, reached by steps, provides the opportunity for sea bathing and fishing. The nearest bars and restaurants are within a 15/20 minutes walk although small foodstalls and a shop are nearer. Between Geris Alti and Yalikavak is the new Marina, Port Bodrum, with shops, a supermarket, outdoor amphitheatre (with shows and cinema), crazy golf and private sunbathing and swimming areas.
The whole Bodrum peninsula is easily accessible by car (which although useful, is not a necessity) and provides wonderful vistas at almost every bend in the road wherever you may travel.
The nearest airport is Bodrum / Milas (BJV) with regular summer flights to most european countries and with regular connecting services to Istanbul. The property lies an easy 35km drive from the airport. Reliable transfers for upto 4 people are included or reduced rate car hire can be arranged. Travel Details Regular Dolmus (minibus) services run within 100 mts of the site entrance to Yalikavak, Gumuskaya and Gumusluk. Taxis are readily available from each village and by telephone
