Set in 2.5 acres of meandering, peaceful Normandy countryside La Tringale's accommodations include La Cottage (3 bedrooms), with wi-fi access: open-plan ground-floor (lounge-diner-kitchen - 54m2); first-floor with family bedroom (4)with en-suite, double + twin-room and full-bathroom and Euphony Gite (2 bedroom barn-conversion)with lounge-diner, kitchen and shower-room on the ground-floor, a double and twin bedroom and gallery landing on the first-floor. Both accommodations feature original Oak beams throughout and have Satellite TV, DVD, Video and Hi-Fi and patio areas with full-furniture. On-site facilities include barbecues, picnic-tables, children's play area, large lawn for ball-games or relaxation, resident fish/frogs/newts/morehens in the land-scaped pond, laundry-room, large car-park, DVD's and Videos. Your English hosts, who reside in the 1820's farmhouse on site, are here to offer the personal touch to your stay too. Area Details La Tringale is ideally placed for easy access to all of the many places of interest and attractions of this beautiful historic region of France. The Normandy beaches (D-day landings); Museums and Military cemeteries; Golf; Fishing lakes and rivers; Theme Parks; Aqua centre; Forest walks/picnics; Zoos; French National Stud Centre; Medieval town of Bayeux and more are all within 30 mins drive. Le Mont St Michel is just over 1 hour away and we have easy access to ferry ports of Cherbourg and Caen (1 hour).The local train station of Lison (7k)has a direct route to Paris (around 2.5 hours) Travel Details Own car / car-hire essential.
