Delightful two bedroom stone cottage for rent, set in glorious countryside with superb views to the Picos mountains and the Cayon valley. Close to the beautiful green coast and the Asturias capital city of Oviedo.
The cottage comprises an open plan sitting room with a wood burning stove, dining room with an original bread oven and a fully equipped kitchen (electric hob oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine) on the ground floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a large bathroom with shower and full length bath.
This rental is ideal for relaxing in the garden opposite the house, walking, cycling and exploring. The market town of Infiesto is about 8km away and has most facilities including a swimming pool. Highly recommended is a trip on the FEVE Railway which runs alongside rivers over tressle, bridges and sometimes along the beach.
The beautiful Asturian beaches of Rodilles and Playa Griega are only a 30 minute drive away. The cities of Oviedo and Gijon are only a 40 minute drive away. Carbayon is also close to the National Parks of Redes, Sueve and the Picos and the lovely towns of Villaviciosa, Colunga and Ribadesella. Area Details The cottage is in the small hamlet of Carbayon in Piloņa, Asturias, northern Spain. Oviedo is the closest city to Carbayon which has flights from the UK but you can also fly to Santander and Bilbao. From Oviedo, Carbayon is about a 40 minute drive. From Santander it is about a 1.5 hour drive and from Bilbao it is about a 3 hour drive. Travel Details Feve train
