'Mon Reve'gite is a 19th century two storey barn which has been tastefully converted into a modern holiday home, offering a large swimming pool (12m x 6m),about an acre of landscaped gardens, 3 comfortable double bedrooms, each with own shower facilities. OPEN ALL YEAR - special rates for long lets.
The gite can accomodate up to six persons plus one baby.
The first floor is accessed via outside stairs leading to a small terrace offering spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. You will find a very spacious room with a well equipped kitchen, a dining /sitting area, a dbl bedroom and a shower room.
Downstairs you have a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. Each bedroom has its own shower/WC facilities.
You can enjoy about one acre of landscaped gardens overlooking some beautiful countryside views. The cottage garden by the gite is adorned with a shallow ornamental fishpond and mature trees.
A large swimming pool(12m x 6m),with sun loungers and benches dotted around the'plage',is pleasantly surrounded by young trees and fragrant flowering shrubs.
In the evenings you can also choose to relax in the garden area, enjoy a barbecue,may be play a game of 'boules' then sit back and relax while sipping a cool glass of wine... You also be able to admire some breath taking sunsets, look at perfect clear skies dotted with amazing bright stars and planets, as ther is very little pollution in the area.

The valley produces some of the finest wines in the world. The countryside is rich with harvest of fruit, vegetables and of course vineyards. It is a region steeped in history and magnificent architecture with numerous majestic chateaux for you to discover. Area Details We live about 10 minutes walk from 'le Guedeniau' village. Around the main square you will find a friendly family run bar/restaurant called 'le Brocard', where you can sample good quality French food. We also have a bakery/patisserie reknown for its delicious 'giant' croissants !!!
The village, very charming and full of character, has a pretty old church, a privately owned chateau, an ancient mill, a public garden bordering a large pond - home to ducks and otters - with a log cabin and barbecue for public use.
The village is surrounded by 'la Foret de Chandelais', ideal place for picnics, walking, cycling,horse riding...The forest is home to wild boars, 'chevreuis' (type of small deers) and various other fauna.
The nearest market town of Bauge is approx. 7 kms away. On the outskirts of the town, you can find an excellent 18 hole golf course, 'Golf de Bauge Pontigne', offering water features in a unique design.
