Casa Rosa is situated in farmland near the quiet village of Conceicao (on the edge of a nature reserve), about 10 minutes drive from Tavira: "The most beautiful town in the Algarve".
The villa has 5 double bedrooms one with en-suite. There are an additional 2 bathrooms. The layout means it can be let as 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom or 5 bedroom depending on the size of your party. It will only ever be let to one group at a time.
As well as the 5 bedrooms there are 2 cots and 2 single "Z" beds available. There are 2 high chairs.
The patio is well equiped with sun loungers and tables and chairs for al fresco eating by the BBQ.
All bedrooms have access to the patio or their own balcony.
There is a modern kitchen with dishwasher, and 2 lounges one with satellite TV and dvd player (bring your own DVDs). There are plenty of games for children of all ages and a good selection of books.
The large pool is accessed via a gate to make it as safe as possible for parties with small children. Area Details The villa is ideal as a base for investigating this peaceful unspolit part of the Algarve and there is plenty for golfers with three first class courses within 10 minutes of the villa. The nearest is Benamor Golf designed by Sir Henry Cotton.
The detached villa is 45 minutes from Faro (the nearest airport) and 20km from the Spanish border. The nearest town of Cabanas is 5 minutes away with a variety of local shops and restaurants. A choice of excellent beaches can be reached in about 10 minutes, lining the seaward side of a 35 mile-long sand bar which is an internationally protected resting place for birds travelling between Northern Europe and Africa. The sandy beach is huge, backed by tufted dunes and is reached by cheap shuttle ferries or by pontoons. Around the jetty there has been some development with watersport facilities, beach umbrellas and loungers and half a dozen bar/restaurants. If you want to escape from the crowds, a short walk along the beach will soon take you to more peaceful surroundings.
ZooMarine and water parks are well worth visiting and are easily accessible from Casa Rosa within about 1 hours drive. Travel Details There is a rail link from Conceicao to Tavira.
Car hire is recommended.
