It is in tranquil countryside but only 5km away from the major town of Avranches. An ideal base for a beach holiday, touring, house hunting, walking, cycling or just relaxing. Area Details A beautiful area of Normandy where you are only a short distance from wonderful views over the Baie of Mont St Michel. Avranches is only 5km away and full of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and hypermarkets. D Day landing beaches and cemeteries are within 1 hours drive. Bayeaux - tapestry and beautiful city, 1 hour. Lots to see and do on the local beaches, the port of Granville is only 30 mins drive away and Jersey can be reached by ferry for a day trip from here. Food is plentiful in this region, the local cheeses are a must and the Cidre, Pommeau & Calvados are well known throughout all of France.
