Ban Haad Sai, or as it is known in English “The House on the Beach” is perfectly situated on Big Buddha Beach, or the north coast of Koh Samui. The beach is so named, as it is the resting place of Samui’s famous Icon, the impressive golden Big Buddha. Fly by Bangkok Airways from Bangkok (15+ flights daily), Singapore or Phuket.
Flights from Bangkok take roughly 45 minutes by Boeing 717, or 70 minutes by twin turbo prop ATR-72 aircraft.
The Boeing 717, reducing flying time to a little over one hour, now also serves flights from Singapore.
