The village (5 min walk from the property) has a superb central tree lined square with all amenities; bakeries, supermarket, café bars, restaurants, newsagent, banks & post office. You will not need to go far for supplies of the local wines either, as the apartment is 1 minute from the village wine cooperative. There is a traditional market on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Only a 5 minute drive from miles of Mediterranean sandy beaches, the first floor apartment sleeps 4/5 people and is an ideal base from which to explore the regions many attractions.

Area Details You can sail, dive, water-ski, swim, and canoe along the crystal clear waters of the rivers Orb, Cesse and L'Herault. The excellent St Thomas golf club is 12km away.
The biggest rollercoaster in France can be found at Europark, along with 3.5 hectares of fun and games, 16km away and the Aqualand watersports park is a great day out for all the family and 25km away.
The medieval fortified city of Carcassonne has been classified as a world heritage site, and you have the Cathar castles of Queribus and Peyrepertuse. The beautiful 13C cathedral in Narbonne is certainly worth a visit and there are a multitude of churches and historic sites- Roman remains in Nimes, the famous Pont du Gard; and stunning gorges, grottoes and canyons.
The magnificent vineyards of the Minervois and Corbières, where the patrons of a hundred different caves eagerly await your appreciation of their wines, surround us. The markets in every town are a feast for the senses and the traditional market in Sérignan is held on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. There are stunning displays of fruit & veg, a huge olive stall, mountains of cheeses and saucissons. There are stalls of clothes, pottery, leather goods, jewellery and a bar under the plane trees to recharge your batteries when you get that weary feeling, but haven't quite seen EVERY stall......
