Area Details The beautiful County of Fermanagh is a visitor’s paradise with wide stretches of island dotted Waterway and secluded bays surrounded by a patchwork of green fields, sift undulating hillsides and fresh forests.
Situated in the North West of Ireland, Fermanagh boasts one of the most uncongested lakes in Europe – Lough Erne. The Erne is made up of two channels, the lower and the upper Loughs. To discover the true character of the Erne, charter a cruiser from one of the many hire companies and meander your way through our Lakeland paradise.
Where the two Loughs meet stands the island town of Enniskillen, also known as the county town. Enniskillen shares close European links with Germany through a twinning relationship with Brackwede (a suburb of Bielefeld) established in 1959.
There is so much to see and do from history and heritage to shopping, visitor attractions and crafts to outdoor and indoor activities – it’s all here!”
Fermanagh is renowned for its hospitality and this is apparent by the range of social events in the county, whether it is a traditional Irish reel in one of our cosy pubs or the modern pop and dance in our more lively Nite Clubs, Fermanagh has music to suit every soul.
No matter where you choose to travel in this Lakeland paradise there is something that will capture your imagination.
So what are you waiting for? Get away from it all and choose the relaxing and so easy going Fermanagh as your holiday destination.
