The house has 3 bedrooms,1 sunny double bedroom with sea views and a large en-suite bathroom. A 2nd bedroom with a single bed and an extra bed if required . A 3rd large bedroom with a large single bed. Large living room/dining room with wood burning stone fire place , door to patio and excellent sea views. Well equipped kitchen with sea views and a door to patio with a table, chairs and retractable sunshade - it's secluded and large with views over beach, the old part of the town, fishing port, old church & bay of Biscay.The property also has an individual garage & shared use of a large swimming pool with garden area, a tennis and basketball court. Area Details The old fishing port of Luanco is a short walk away, it's some 8 kms from Cabo de Peñas .There are wonderful views over the Bay of Biscay and the beach. Luanco has excellent restaurants especially for people who enjoy sea food/ marisco. The town is very lively at the weekend and in summer but the house itself is situated in a quiet resdential area. There are excellent golf courses and museums in the area. In summer there are gastronomic festivals and concerts for all musical tastes. The mountains Los Picos de Europa are about an hour's drive away where you can ski, cycle rent ponies and horses and of course walk. This area is also noted for its unspoilt sandy beaches and surfing. The beach nearest to the house is a very safe bathing beach. In summer there is an international tennis tournament, a showjumping event takes place at the end of July. This house is ideal for nature lovers. Travel Details Asturias airport is a 25 minute drive- Easyjet fly here from Stansted airport, England. Brittany ferries operate to Santander (210kms), P & O Ferries to Bilbao (350kms).
There are local buses to the cities of Oviedo, Gijón and Avilés frequently throughout the day.
