An old a characteristic three storeys house, completely renovated, in the medieval centre of Pescasseroli (Italy, Abruzzo region, touristic area between Rome and Naples), little (2000 inhabitants) capital of ABRUZZO National Park. PESCASSEROLI (1.200 m. altitude) is in a green and sunny valley surrounded by mountains (2.000 - 2400 m). There are a lot of itineraries you can walk all around, also with the Guides of the Park. You can walk, ride, swim in a little lake, 20 Km far away (or in a public swimming pool in Pescasseroli). If you are lucky, you can see animals: bears, wolves, chamouxs..There are one double bedroom, a second room with two closeable beds and two full bathrooms, a large living room (with a sofa-bed for two peole) and a separate dining room with fully equipped kitchen. Full gas heating .

It's our vacation house, so you may require/use it year round. Area Details The neighborhood
Pescasseroli, a place for winter and summer holidays, is a little mountain village only two hours drive from Rome, by car or, in summer, by coach. There are a lot of facilities: restaurants, shops, churches, the Museum and the Reception Centre of the Park, one public swimming pool (covered), a lot of riding centres, ski slopes. From our house you can reach the other characteristic little villages of the valley (Opi, 5 Km, Villetta Barrea and its lake (15 Km), Civitella Alfedena (10 Km), or go visiting Rome and Naples (2 hours by car, 150 Km. each). Adriatic sea and its beaches are 130 Km far away. Travel Details Railroad from Rome to Avezzano, then line bus to Pescasseroli. In summer, direct line bus from Rome to Pescasseroli (2,5 hours).
Motorroad from Rome or Pescara: exit at Pescina, then 35 Km. to Pescasseroli by National road.
