Newly renovated,fully airconditioned 2 bedroom bungalow.Ideal for self-catering. 10 mins walk from beach. Ideally situated for a beach holiday and as a base for exploring Athens and the islands. Close to National Road and airport and new Metro link that goes to all areas of Athens. Bungalow is fully furnished and equipped and includes large patios, BBQ and garden. Local shops in easy walking distance. 10 mins from Rafina Port. The house is very "child-friendly" and we can provide baby equipment (high chair,cot etc)on request. Loutsa is also an ideal place for windsurfing. Area Details Loutsa is a favourite seaside destination for Athenians escaping from the heat of Athens in summer but it is very much a town not a resort. It retains a small town flavour but with all the amenities. There are many traditional Greek tavernas as well as pizza and burger places. There are nightclubs on the seafront but no "tourist" discos. The beach is clean and the water warm and safe for children. The port of Rafina is 10 mins away with ferries and "flying dolphins" to Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Andros etc. Many islands can be visited as a day trip or as an overnight stay so the bungalow offers an ideal base for exploring both Athens and the islands. The bungalow is at the quieter end of Loutsa but with easy access to the nightlife if required! There are windsurfing clubs a short walk up the beach. Travel Details Bus stop for Athens and airport 2 mins walk. Taxis available. Buses also go direct to airport and from there direct metro links to all parts of Athens. Bus stop for local buses opposite bungalow.We can arrange car hire for you if required and the car can be delivered and picked up from the house.
