The country lies along the Highway 3 Via Flaminia, between 31 ° and 32 ° KM. A particularly curious is that Morlupo is situated on the exact north of Rome as their Longitudini coincide exactly (12 ° 30 '0''East). The oldest part of the country (district Mazzocca) grew on a hill overlooking the Tiber (at the place where it was located in ancient Rome the "statio", the barracks) and consists of a terrace tufa rock shaped like a horseshoe, surrounded by cliffs overlooking the valley. The area of Morlupo is one of the most beautiful countryside of north of Rome. The hilly landscape is always varied in all seasons grants the sight of space "indefinitely" admiring landscapes and colors of nature. In the immediate vicinity of the country there are natural reserves and parks. Among the most significant are cited:

Park of Veio: 2 km from the country along the Via Flaminia. Formed in 1997, the park covers about 15,000 hectares comprising part of the territory of Morlupo. Inside are the archaeological remains of Etruscan town of Veio, The area of the park is of considerable interest from the point of view fauna. Were surveyed 145 animal species present in the territory, some of them extremely rare, like the butterfly Poecilocampa canensis. Widely represented are birds, both sedentary and step, particularly birds of prey like the black kite brown, buzzards and kestrels. Among the mammals have spread the hedgehog, the porcupine, the rate, the wild boar and fox. As for amphibians and reptiles, have spread the crested newt and triton dotted, the green frog, the frog Greek, the agile frog, the tortoise freshwater, cervone, saettone.

Mount Soratte: is 14 km from Morlupo, on the Flaminia north, in the town of Sant'Oreste. Mount Soratte (height 691 m.) stands alone among the hills of Tuscia Roman which is the top higher. It consists of limestone rocks formed in the Pleistocene. Characteristic of the place are "Meri", three large chasms, which are located on the eastern base of the mountain. These wells, communicating with each other and about 115 m deep, are of considerable interest speleological. In particular, the Mero Grande consists of a deep vertical shaft several tens of metres and a diameter of 20m. From the top of the mountain, reached on foot from the village of Sant'Oreste, admires a spectacular panorama of the entire Valley of the Tiber. On the mountain were erected in the times various buildings of worship is charged, that many Christian and medieval monasteries: S. Lucia, S. Antonio, Our Lady of Grace, S. Sebastiano up to reach the summit with the ancient abbey of St. Sylvester. Suggestive rock the church dedicated to the Holy Roman reachable by a separate path.
