Villa Rodia is an exclusive vacation rental as it has been designed as a luxurious suite.
Villa Rodia is an exquisite maisonette of about 110 sq.m. with comfortable and exlusive living areas decorated in absolute style. The living room at the groundfloor offers a beautiful view to the patio surrounding the pool. There is a comfortable sofa in front of the fireplace, a dining table for four as well as a special corner designed as a small home-office with internet access, a fax machine and a direct tlelephone line.
In the groundfloor there is also a fully equipped kitchen and the marble bathroom with the built-in shower room featuring a hair-dryer and a washing machine.
On the first floor there is the master bedroom with the kingsize four-posted bed, the two armchairs in front of the fireplace, a second TV-set, spacious storage room and a private wooden veranda offering view to the rose garden also with pool and oceanview.
On the first floor there is also a walk-in closet with a large mirror and the master bathroom with crystal lights, gold-plated mirror and jacuzzi bathtub whose large window offers a magnificent view to the surrounding scenery.
On the last floor there is the second bedroom with the queen iron bed set in a romanatic atmosphere.
The villa is surrounded by lavish gardens of about 1.500 sq.m. where you can find a large stone barbecue and a large wooden gazebo with comfortable cushions. All in all, Villa Rodia is the only vacation rental in the area of Chania that offers high standards of accommodation while also offering discreet services such as daily maid service, daily change of luxury embroidered towels,change of linen 2-3 times/week, free use of fluffy towels at the pool, slippers/bathrobes/pierre cardin toiletries in the bathrooms. Area Details Villa Rodia is located in Xamoudochori, a small traditional village just 4 km south of the nearest beach of Maleme. The villa is built amongst a unique natural environment full of vineyards and olivegroves, offering a breathtaking view to the ocean as well as the peaceful natural scenery.
Platanias, the famous tourist resort with its sandy beach, many beach-bars, restaurants and other convenience stores is just 7km to the east while the city of Chania, with its famous Venetian Harbour, is another 13 km to the east.
Chania, which is one of the most beautiful cities in Greece often called "Venice of the East" owing to its picturesque old harbour with the well-preserved edifices dating back to the Venetian Era, is an ideal destination for lovers of art, architecture, archeology as well as nightlife and entertainment.
Chania is also famous for its many sandy beaches will surely captivate you. You shouldn't forget visiting Samaria Gorge,one of the longest in Europe. Travel Details Villa Rodia is located on a small hill, just 4 km south of the central seaside road which connects all major villages with the main city of Chania.
It would be, however, useful to have a car rental so as to be able to visit all major attractions which are located within easy reach (5-50 km).
