"The Seminary" is a recently modernised 18th century building which was used as a house of retreat for 19th century clergy who could combine a life of prayer with work in the fields.
THE 2 COTTAGES
"Campo di Fragole" - Strawberry Fields. The name is taken from the well-known Beatles song. They are a separate structure from the main house, a former farm-building, beautifully converted and furnished in country style to give some double bedrooms, some with ensuite toilet and shower/bathroom. They have a living room and a fully equipped kitchen to give self-catering guests complete independence. The cottages have a pleasant terrace giving onto the swimming pool and garden. With its sheltered site and sunny aspect, you can swim from May to October. Area Details "Il Seminario" is near the small town of Sant’Agata dei Goti, in the hills 45 kilometers from Naples. Sant'agata is a charming medieval town, perched high above a small river on a rocky outcrop of volcanic stone. It has wonderful views over the surrounding countryside from the battlements all round, and its narrow streets are crammed with churches and historical sites while remaining unspoilt by commercialism.
It has excellent local restaurants, and is famous for its apples, wine and cheese.

Naples, Pompei, Herculaneum, Sorrento, Amalfi and Capri are all accessible as day trips.
Lesser known places to visit include: Caserta - palace of the 18th century kings of Naples, on the scale of Versailles, with magnificent fountains and cascades. Telese - famous as a spa with thermal centre. San Lorenzello has a widely known antiques market every month. San Marco dei Gavoti specialises in torroni (nougat). Cusano Mutri and Caserta vecchia are wonderful fortified hill villages. Travel Details Naples is easily accessible by air or train. We can meet you at the airport or railway station, or arrange transport.
By car from the Rome-Naples autostrada Sant'Agata dei Goti is not hard to find. Coming from Rome, exit at Caianello, take he Telese-Benevento fast road, and follow signs to Sant'Agata dei Goti. Coming from Naples exit at Caserta sud and take the Benevento-Telese road, on which signs to Sant'Agata are frequent. cross the high bridge over the ex-drawbridge into the historic centre to find yourself on the Piazza Trieste, which has an obelisk in the middle. Stop there and call us - we will come and guide you to Campo di Fragole.
