The bay, a secluded property located in the sunny south coast of the island, is nestled between two promontories and the landscape is untouched. This is a breathtaking view on the Mediterranean sea. The romantic Villa ' La Canzone del Mare', hidden in a spectacular setting and surrounded by the scent of the Mediterranean maquis, is situated 300 Mt from the sea, and 80 Mt.above sea level. The villa , accomodates its guests in 4 modern apartments of different size, that sleeps from 2 till 5. Panoramic patio and verandas open out into a garden of Spanish broom and bougainvillaea plants. MonteCristo, the island of mystery appears on the horizon. A large private park full of pine trees, eucalyptus and rosemary plants slopes down to a wild inlet among the rocks. Area Details Cala Bella is ideally located on the island: it\'s an oasis of peace but a transitable dirt road of 1,3 km., takes in the middle of the island. Few minutes by car from nice villages as Marina di Campo or Procchio and enchanting beaches. For lovers of an unspoiled sea, at 700 Mt. the beach of Fonza, reachable also by car, is kept unspoiled and hidden from tourism. At 300 Mt , a path and steps along the property, leads down to an enchanting private inlet among the rocks. Elba is full of historical reminds and various landscapes from mountains to 138 km of coast with beautiful bays. All sports activities can be practiced.
General information: Elba is well connected with the Tuscany coast in Piombino. A ferry takes 50 minutes to reach Portoferraio, main center of the island. Timetable depends on the season. In high season, almost every hour. Piombino is about 2 hours from Florence ( motorway connections), a daily excursion in the city or in the tuscany inland is also possible. Elba is also reachable by plane flying directly to Marina di Campo . Flying to Pisa and then taking a train to Piombino is also possible.
