This Sabbatical Home is located in the heart of a quaint village on a Sicilian hill, two kilometers from the sea and 20 min. easy drive to Palermo. This patronal residence is comfortably furnished with antique furniture and family heirlooms: love and excellence to the smallest detail. It has new bathrooms and kitchen, all appliances, covered decks, patios, and opens to a secluded sub-tropical garden. The house is available for rent every year from October to mid May. It can accommodate up to eight guests, but you will be charged only for the number of guests in your party and will have the exclusive use of the residence. Area Details Palermo, 20 km away, is well connected to Casteldaccia by public transportation. Palermo, capital of Sicily - an island in the sea of sunlight - is a splendid city adorned in the course of 2500 years by Greeks, arab Emirs, Norman Kings and Spanish Viceroys; it offers an incomparable example of beauty, history, culture and traditions to excite the mind and the eye.
It has a wide selection of museums and entertainment.
Close-by centres are Santa Flavia, three kms west, Bagheria, five kms west, Porticello, a fisherman village three kms west, Altavilla, 3km east, all offering plenty of tourist attractions. Casteldaccia is known in the world for its wine Corvo, Duca di Salaparuta.
