The Tamarind House is a villa within it’s own walled and landscaped tropical gardens. It consists of four units comprising five bedrooms that provide luxury accommodation for up to ten adults. It possesses several areas of escape within, being the front Sala, covered and uncovered wooden deck, garden sala, air-conditioned living room and shaded gardens.
The main unit comprises an air-conditioned living room, elegant dining area, and fully equipped modern kitchen with below ground cellar. The Entertainment area offers satellite TV, as well as DVD / VCD / CD player. You can remain up to date with all that is happening whilst on holiday through CNN & BBC, there are four movies and four sports channels plus a host of children’s choices.
The five bedrooms are all fully air-conditioned, as well as having ceiling fans, and each feature indoor-and-outdoor bathrooms. There are two with double beds, two with twin beds and one children’s room with 4 bunk beds. All of the rooms enjoy views across the pool to the beach and sea beyond.
Ban Tamarind is an Entertainer’s dream, with many choices for that special get together or intimate experience. Choose from a candlelit Beach Dinner, Garden BBQ, Lunch or Dinner under the beachside Sala, relaxed dining on the deck or an elegant air-conditioned gourmet experience in the main dining room. In any case you can enjoy the wonderful cuisine of Thailand expertly prepared by our local chefs wherever you desire.
Koh Samui is a watersports haven, being an island surrounded by relatively calm seas. As such most watersports are available here, as a re a number of fishing options. The main fishing charters are all located within a 5 minute drive of the propery.
Area Details
Location, Location, Location is an apt Real Estate phrase to describe the site of the villa. It enjoys stunning sea views to Koh Phangnan, as well as sunset views to the west of the island. The Big Buddha is a truly inspiring sight when viewed from the deck, garden or beach. It is conveniently located less than 5 minutes from Samui Airport and only 10 minutes drive from the main tourist area of Chaweng. “Bang Rak” is also home to an eclectic range of restaurants and shops that mean most needs are only a short walk away. The “Restaurant Row” of Bophut is also only a 5-minute drive away.
The first Koh Samui Golf Course opens mid-October 2003. It is destined to be known as arguably the most scenic Golf Course in South East Asia.

HOW TO GET HERE
Fly by Bangkok Airways from Bangkok (15+ flights daily), Singapore or Phuket.
Flights from Bangkok take roughly 45 minutes by Boeing 717, or 70 minutes by twin turbo prop ATR-72 aircraft.
The Boeing 717, reducing flying time to a little over one hour, now also serves flights from Singapore.

E-tickets are readily available and enjoy a preferential check-in.
